BIMI
Brand Indicators for Message Identification — a standard that lets you display your brand logo next to authenticated emails.
BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is an emerging email standard that allows your brand logo to appear next to your emails in supported inboxes (Gmail, Yahoo, Apple Mail).
To use BIMI, you need: a DMARC policy of quarantine or reject, a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) from a certificate authority, and a BIMI DNS record pointing to your logo SVG file.
While BIMI is not strictly necessary for cold email, having your logo displayed increases trust and open rates. It signals to recipients and email providers that you are a legitimate sender. The setup cost (VMC certificates start around $1,500/year) makes it more suitable for established businesses.
