Sender Reputation
A score assigned to your email address and domain by email providers based on your sending behavior.
Sender reputation is like a credit score for email. It's built over time through consistent, positive sending behavior and can be destroyed quickly by spam complaints, high bounce rates, or sudden volume spikes.
Reputation exists at multiple levels: IP reputation (the sending server), domain reputation (your domain), and account reputation (your specific email address). All three matter for deliverability.
To build reputation: start with email warmup, send to verified addresses only, maintain low bounce rates, avoid spam complaints, and gradually increase volume. Monitor your reputation using tools like Google Postmaster Tools, GlockApps, or your warmup tool's dashboard.
