Spam Score

A numerical score indicating how likely your email is to be classified as spam by email providers.

Spam score is calculated based on various factors: email content (spammy words, excessive links, misleading subject lines), technical setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), sender reputation, and engagement metrics. Tools like Mail-Tester give you a spam score out of 10 before you send. Aim for 9/10 or higher. Common score killers: missing authentication records, URL shorteners, too many images, spammy language ('free', 'guaranteed', 'act now'), and broken HTML. For cold email, content and technical setup are your main levers. Keep emails short, personalized, and text-heavy. Ensure all authentication records are properly configured.
