Spintax
A syntax for creating multiple variations of email text to make each message unique.
Spintax (spin syntax) lets you define multiple options for words or phrases in your email templates. The sending platform randomly selects one option for each email, making every message slightly different.
Example: {Hey|Hi|Hello} {name}, I {noticed|saw|found} your {company|organization|business}...
This creates dozens of unique combinations, which helps avoid spam filters that detect identical mass emails. Advanced spintax supports nested variations and conditional logic.
Most cold email platforms support spintax natively. Use it for greetings, transitions, and CTAs — but keep your core message consistent. Don't overdo it; readable, personalized emails beat heavily spun ones.
